Dibs in Search of Self is a non-fiction book. Virgina M. Axline is a child therapist who works with Dibs a young boy. You experience the process of her helping him escape his personal prison and the world of being alone and isolated within himself which he created for safety. It is an inspirational book about patience, understanding, and acceptance of a child's process of healing.
The gifts of Imperfection in a non-fiction book. Dr. Brene Brown is a research professor and thought leader on vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. She shares ten guideposts on the power of wholehearted living-a way to engage with the world from a place of worthiness.
The Wounded Heart is a non-fiction book. This book has helped men and women who are experiencing complex issues in their lives because of sexual abuse. Dr. Allender is a psychologist who has helped individuals wrestle with their feelings toward God, other people and themselves, and understanding the goals and fears that have determined how they related to others because of the sexual abuse.
